世界知的所有権機関（WIPO）のPCT翻訳部では、ターミノロジーや翻訳、翻訳支援技術のフェローシップ・プログラムで応募者を募っています。このプログラムは、国際機関の業務を実地体験し実務訓練を受ける機会を提供することを目的とし、フェローシップの経験者はその後、国際的に関連領域で活躍しています。
この度、特に応募が少ない日本語を扱うインターンを中心にオンラインで応募説明会を行うことになりました。ただし、中国語・韓国語を扱うインターンとして応募をお考えの方も、説明会への参加を歓迎いたします。
ターミノロジー、翻訳、翻訳支援技術のフェローシップがどのようなものかに関心のある以下のような方の参加を歓迎いたします。
大学院修士課程・博士課程在学中あるいは修了後3年以内の方で
・専門用語論や関連する授業・コースを含む翻訳のコースを履修している方
・言語学のコースを履修している方
・科学技術コミュニケーションやテクニカル・コミュニケーションのコースを履修している方
・個別専門領域を専攻しながら知識の管理や翻訳、コミュニケーションに関心のある方
現段階でフェローシップに参加してみたいとはっきりお考えの方だけでなく、応募するかどうかはわからないけれど、そもそもWIPOのフェローシップがどのようなものか知りたい方も歓迎です。
また、学生に紹介しようかどうか検討したい大学の先生方、若手職員の研修の一環としての可能性を考えたい翻訳関連企業のマネージャーの方も参加を歓迎いたします。

This explanatory session is mainly for potential applicants who are interested in working on Japanese, but those who are interested in working on Chinese and Korean are also welcome.
The applicants should be either currently enrolled in or recently graduated from graduate schools of
– terminology or translation;
– linguistics;
– technical/science communication;
– individual research domain with strong interest in knowledge
management and communication.
University teachers who are thinking of introducing the WIPO Fellowship to their students, or company managers who are interested in sending young staff to the fellowship are also welcome to join this session.
