今夏、東京大学本郷キャンパスにてテクノロジー× アートの展覧会「東京大学制作展Extra2018」が開催されます。
本展覧会は、広く一般の方に技術を親しんで頂く接点となるべく、学際情報学府などの学生たちが、研究と並行してアート作品の制作に取り組んでいます。
毎年、日々研究で培っている技術を芸術として昇華させた、個性豊かな作品が並びます。
また、今年秋には今回のフィードバックを元に、「第20回東京大学制作展2018」が行われます。
皆様、ぜひ足をお運びください。

We are holding an exhibition named “iii Exhibition Extra 2018” this upcoming July.
Widely open for public, this exhibition gives an opportunity for everyone to familiarize themselves with the latest technology and research.
Every year, students mainly from the Graduate School of Interdisciplinary Information Studies and Engineering present unique artworks, which are created based on technologies cultivated daily from their research.
Also, the upcoming 20th annual exhibition “iii Exhibition 2018” will be held based on the feedback from this event.

コンセプト (Concept)

Dest-logy
テクノロジーの浸透は、日常にたくさんの「あたりまえ」をつくってきました。
そんな「あたりまえ」を一度壊してみたら、何が見えてくるでしょうか。
みなさまと共に考えていきます。

 

”Dest-logy”
The permeation of technology has created many perceptions of what is obvious in everyday life.
What can we see/learn from destroying the obvious?
We will think with you about it.
