台湾で発生した大地震について（目黒公郎 学環・学府長メッセージ）A Message from Dean Kimiro Meguro regarding the major earthquake in Taiwan
このたび、台湾で発生した大地震により被災された方々に、情報学環・学際情報学府の関係者一同、心よりお見舞い申しあげます。
学環・学府は長年にわたり、毎年開催する「日韓台シンポジウム」をはじめとして、台湾の研究者や学生の皆さんと様々な研究と教育を協力して行ってきました。2011年の東日本大震災や今年発生した能登半島地震で被災した経験からも、今回被害に遭われた方々とそのご家族の痛みと深い悲しみを目の当たりにして、大変心を痛めています。
被災地の方々、及び現地で緊急支援をされている方々の勇気と復旧・復興に向けた熱意に敬意を表します。私たちの思いは皆様とともにあります。

On behalf of us all at the III/GSII, I would like to express my heartfelt concern and condolences to all those affected by the recent major earthquake in Taiwan.
The III/GSII has a long history of cooperation in research and education with our colleagues in Taiwan, including especially the annual “SNU-UTokyo-NCCU symposium” involving students and faculty from our three universities. From our experience of the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011 and the Noto Peninsula Earthquake this year, it pains us to witness the suffering and sadness of the victims of the Taiwan earthquake and their families.
I would like to express my profound respect for the earnest efforts of those involved in the relief and recovery operation from this earthquake. Our thoughts are with you.
