大井将生さん（文化・人間情報学コース　博士課程2年，渡邉英徳研究室）が、中村覚助教（史料編纂所）とともに取り組んでいる「S×UKILAM（スキラム）教育メタデータLOD」が，Linked Open Data チャレンジ Japan 2023にて優秀賞（データ作成部門）を受賞しました。授賞理由は以下の通りです。

「本作品は、デジタルアーカイブ資料を用いた教材と多様な教育情報を、LODの特徴を活かし、さまざまなメタデータや外部コンテンツとの接続しやすい形で構造化したデータセットとなっています。 オントロジーによるスキーマ定義やSPARQLエンドポイントの提供など、データ公開の技術面も優れていることに加え、それらを利用し、豊富なデータを直感的なインタフェースで可視化するアプリケーションも開発されており、優秀賞に値すると評価いたしました。」

Masao Oi (2nd year doctoral student, Cultural and Human Information Studies Course, Hidenori Watanave Laboratory) with Assistant Professor Satoru Nakamura (Historiographical Institute) ‘s “S×UKILAM Educational Metadata LOD” received the Excellence Award (data creation category) at Linked Open Data Challenge Japan 2023. The reasons for receiving the award are as follows:

“This work is a structured dataset of educational materials and diverse educational information using digital archival materials in a form that is easily connected to various metadata and external content, taking advantage of the features of LOD. In addition to the excellent technical aspects of data publication, such as schema definition using ontologies and provision of SPARQL endpoints, an application that uses these features to visualize rich data with an intuitive interface has also been developed, and we highly evaluated this work as worthy of the Excellence Award.”
