「未踏スーパークリエータ」は「突出したIT人材」を発掘・育成するために独立行政法人情報処理推進機構（IPA）が行っている未踏IT人材発掘・育成事業において、その中でも特に卓越した能力を持つと認められた人材に認定される賞です。
【受賞された研究・活動について】
プロジェクト名: XR向けWindow System
XR用のWindow System「ZIGEN」を設計・開発した。ZIGENによって1つの3D空間内に複数の3Dアプリケーションや既存の2Dアプリケーションを描画したりフォーカスを変えて入力したりできる。またドラッグ&ドロップによるデータ共有の仕組みを提供することで、アプリケーション同士の連携を可能にした。これにより、例えば部屋と外の背景を別々のアプリケーションとして起動できるようにしたり、ブラウザからWeb上の3Dモデルのファイルをドラッグ&ドロップで3D空間に配置したりといったことができる。ZIGENは、アプリケーションが特定の機能だけを高いクオリティで提供し、マルチタスク環境を作り出す、新たなヴァーチャル世界を提供する。

【About the Awarded Research/Activity】
Project name: XR Windowing System
We designed and developed ZIGEN, a Window System for XR, which allows multiple 3D applications and existing 2D applications to be drawn and input with different focuses within a single 3D space. It also provides a drag-and-drop data sharing function that allows applications to work together. This allows, for example, room and outside backgrounds to be launched as separate applications, or 3D model files on the Web to be placed in 3D space via drag-and-drop from a browser.
ZIGEN provides a new virtual world in which applications provide specific functions at a high quality, creating a multitasking environment.
