吉見俊哉教授 最終講義Professor Shunya Yoshimi’s Final Lecture
吉見俊哉教授の最終講義＜東大紛争1968-69＞が2023年3月19日、本学安田講堂にて、無観客で行われその様子が生配信されました。
安田講堂の舞台の上に立ち、「半世紀以上を経たこの現場から最終講義をすることによって、かつての事件の現場の、メモリーランドスケープを、或は記憶の場を立ち上がらせる事に挑戦してみたい」と始まった講義は、1960年代以降の大学紛争全体を象徴するものとして、繰り返しメディアの上で再演され続けた安田講堂に於ける激闘、そして、そこに至るまでの東京大学の抱えた問題に迫りました。
演劇的ともいえる講義の生配信は、およそ1,200名もの方に同時視聴されました。4月30日24時まで下記URLにてアーカイブ配信中です。

Professor Shunya Yoshimi’s final lecture “The Todai Conflict 1968-69” was held on March 19, 2023 at the Yasuda Auditorium. Although no audience was present at the venue, the lecture was broadcast live. Around 1,200 people connected to the live broadcast.
As he stood on the Yasuda Auditorium stage, Professor Yoshimi began the lecture as follows:
“I am now standing on the stage of the University of Tokyo Yasuda Auditorium. By giving the final lecture from the scene of the incident more than half a century later, I would like to create a memory landscape or a place of memory.” In the lecture, Professor Yoshimi discussed how the Yasuda Auditorium has been repeatedly reenacted in the media as a symbol of the whole university conflict since the fierce battle in the 1960s. Subsequently, he approached the problems faced by the University of Tokyo up to that point.
The theatrical lecture is a must-see. The lecture will be available as an archive until 24:00 on April 30th from the links below.
