令和7年度大学院学際情報学府 入・進学ガイダンスGSII Spring Entrance Guidance 2025
2025（令和7）年4月より大学院学際情報学府に入学・進学した修士課程95名、博士課程32名を対象に、入・進学ガイダンスが4月3日（木）に福武ラーニングシアターにて行われました。
はじめに、学際情報学府長の目黒公郎教授から祝辞が贈られました。新入生へのメッセージとして、ここに来なければ出会えなかった様々な分野の人々と対話し理解を深めてほしいこと、大学院生の時代は人生の中で自分の研究に全てのエネルギーを注ぐことができる貴重な時間なので有効活用してほしいことなどが伝えられました。新たなスタート地点に立つ学生を激励する目黒学府長を前に、新入生たちは真剣な眼差しでその言葉を受け止めていました。
続いて、苗村専攻長から、学際情報学府での研究の進め方に関する説明がありました。教員の所属組織である情報学環と学生の所属組織である学際情報学府の関係性、学内の様々な研究組織に所属する教員の協力のもと成立している情報学環・学際情報学府の独特な仕組み、教務に関する事項についての概要が述べられました。また、学際情報学府で研究活動を進める際の心構えとして、学際情報学府の優れた特徴である《学際性》を活かすため、この組織に集まる様々な人と積極的に交流してほしいということが強調されました。
その後、必修科目や情報セキュリティ、教務に関する連絡、図書室の利用や、学内における相談機関の紹介など、今後の学生生活に関する重要な情報が伝えられました。入・進学ガイダンス終了後、学生たちはコース別に分かれ、各コースの担当教員によるガイダンスに参加しました。

On April 3rd, a guidance session was held for the 95 students entering the master’s program and 32 students entering the Ph.D. program in the Spring Semester of the 2025 academic year.
The session began with a congratulatory address by Dean Meguro, who reminded those attending that human life is much shorter than it may seem when one is a student, urging them to make the most of their time here and form relationships that will be of use to them in their future lives in society. The new students listened intently to these words of encouragement from the Dean.
Next, Head of Department Naemura explained to the students how research is conducted in the GSII, including the relationship between the III (a research organization) and the GSII (an educational organization) and other aspects of the organization of the III/GSII. He also urged the students to take advantage of the distinctive interdisciplinary nature of the organization and be proactive in seeking contact with a diverse range of people.
The students were then told important information about class requirements, information security, contacting faculty, using the library and consultation services. After the general session, smaller meetings were held for students enrolled in each of the separate courses and programs.
