デロイトトーマツx東京大学SiSOCサイバーセキュリティトレーニングDeloitte Tohmatsu X The University of Tokyo SiSOC Cyber Security Training
2016年9月17日から9月19日まで、デロイトトーマツx東京大学SiSOCサイバーセキュリティトレーニング(東京大学情報学環セキュア情報化社会研究寄附講座とデロイトトーマツ リスクサービス株式会社の共催、オランダ大使館とデロイトオランダの後援)が、セキュア情報化社会研究寄附講座の活動拠点である東京八重洲オフィスにて開催された。
初の開催ながらも、東京大学の理工系の学部生、大学院生を中心に14名が集まり、最先端のサイバーセキュリティの動向や技術に関するトレーニングを受講した。
サイバーセキュリティの分野で必要とされる知識は多岐に渡るため、本トレーニングでは、セキュリティ関連情報収集、攻撃方法論や脆弱性診断等の網羅的な技術要素について取り扱い、実践的な演習を中心に競技形式で行った。講師としてデロイトオランダからサイバーセキュリティの第一線で活躍している2名の専門家を招いて講義を進め、基礎として確実に理解する必要のあるポイントについては寄付講座所属の満永と小林が解説を行った。基礎を習得した学生は発展的な内容にも踏み込み、日進月歩のサイバーセキュリティの最前線に触れるトレーニングとなった。最終日には、2日間で学んだ知識をもとにCTF(Capture The Flag)形式の演習が行われた。副賞として上位優秀者は、デロイトオランダを訪れ、オランダの最先端のサイバーセキュリティに触れる機会を得られることもあり、終了時間の間際まで、受講者は無我夢中で演習に取り組んでいる姿が印象的であった。
トレーニング終了後の懇親会の場では、多くの受講者が輪になり、本トレーニングでそれぞれが得た新な知見をもとに議論をする姿もみられ、今回のトレーニングの実施に大いに意味があったことを実感した。寄付講座では今後も定期的にトレーニングを開催していきたいと考えている。

From 17th to 19th September 2016, “Deloitte Tohmatsu X The University of Tokyo SiSOC Cyber Security Training” was held at Tokyo Yaesu Office, the base for SiSOC. The event was co-organised by SiSOC and Deloitte Tohmatsu Risk Services Co., Ltd., and supported by The Embassy of Netherlands in Japan and Deloitte Netherlands.
At this first training course organized by SiSOC, 14 participants, mainly undergraduate and graduate students majoring in science or engineering at The University of Tokyo, learned about the latest cyber security trends and techniques.
Given the wide range of knowledge required in the cyber security area, this training course dealt comprehensively with technical elements, including security information gathering, attack methods and vulnerability assessment, and also conducted a competition-type exercise. Two experts who work at the cyber security frontier were invited from Deloitte Netherlands to provide lectures, and basic expertise required in order to understand the lectures was explained by Dr. Mitsunaga and Mr. Kobayashi. Students who acquired basic knowledge moved onto more advanced materials, and the training covered a wide range of the latest cyber security trends. On the last day, a CTF (Capture The Flag) exercise was conducted based on the knowledge presented during the first two days. Students who obtained high scores received awards giving them the opportunity to visit Deloitte Netherlands to experience the latest cyber security trends in the Netherlands. Students were actively engaged in the exercise until the end of the session.
At the social event after the training, many students discussed the new insights that they had learned through the course. SiSOC will continue to organize similar training courses periodically.
