情報学環・学際情報学府の概要をコンパクトに伝えるA concise introduction to the III/GSII
このパンフレットは、情報学環・学際情報学府の概要を学内外の方々に分かりやすくお伝えするために制作しています。学問の「横糸」となり、学問と社会、国際化などさまざまな次元で「環」となる研究を目指す情報学環・学際情報学府をシンプルに、数字やイラスト、表を使ってまとめています。
学生数と教員数、各コースおよび情報学環教育部の概要、研究分野やキーワード、入学試験の時期や定員数など、項目ごとに見開きで概要がつかめるデザインになっています。本パンフレットは、入試説明会やシンポジウムなど、各種イベントで説明や広報のために活用されています。
This pamphlet is designed to be readily understandable to people both within and outside the academy. It uses figures, tables and graphs to simply represent how the III/GSII aims to create “linkages” (“kan” or “wa” in Japanese) among different sectors of the academic world, between the academic world and wider society, and across international boundaries.
The pamphlet provides information at a glance on numerous aspects of the III/GSII, including the size of its faculty and student body, its various graduate and undergraduate programs, the main fields of research and keywords, and the student recruitment process. It is a public relations tool to be used at public events, such as entrance examination guidance and academic symposia.
